1. IS SUNLESS TANNING SAFE?
Yes it is! The active ingredient DHA - which is derived from sugarcane - was approved for safety by the FDA in 1973. When applied to the skin, DHA penetrates only the top layers of skin and therefore is not absorbed into the body or bloodstream.
ALL SUNLESS TANNING PRODUCTS CONTAIN DHA.
 
2. HOW DOES THE SPRAY TAN WORK?
The tanning solution is applied evenly by our technicians with a spray gun. Because the solution has a bronzer in it, this allows the technician to see exactly where they have sprayed, so you won’t be left looking streaky! This takes about 15 minutes and results in an immediate natural looking tan that will continue to develop over the next 5 to 12 hours.
 
3. HOW LONG DOES A SUNLESS TAN LAST AND WILL IT GO PATCHY?
A BE BRONZE sunless tan will usually last 5-10 days. For best fading results, thoroughly exfoliate prior to application and moisturise generously each day after the application. The BE BRONZE skin care is designed to give the best after care. While the moisturising cream is designed to help the tan fade more naturally, the skin glow will extend the life of the tan.
 
4. DO YOUR SUNLESS TANNING PRODUCTS CONTAIN FRAGRANCES?
No. Studies have shown that fragrances are one of the major causes of allergic reactions. No one wants a sunless tanning solution that smells too flowery, fruity or sweet.
 
5. WILL I GO ORANGE?
Our technician will use the Be Bronze Skin Type guide to help you determine what percentage solution would best suit you.
BE BRONZE solutions are designed so that only a light application is necessary. If you wish to go darker we suggest you have a higher DHA percentage solution rather than a heavier application.
 
6. I ALWAYS BURN & NEVER TAN IN THE SUN. CAN I STILL GET A SUNLESS TAN?
Absolutely! If you are someone with skin type 1 who always burns in the sun and therefore has never been able to tan, you can achieve a sunless tan.
 
7. WILL THE SUNLESS TANNING PRODUCTS STAIN MY CLOTHES?
Solutions that contain bronzers may transfer to your clothes if they touch your skin immediately after application.  We recommend wearing garments that are loose and dark in colour after application.  However, Be Bronze solutions are water-based for easy washing.
